Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 13, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to PullPoint. PullPoint is a mobile application that helps users discover calisthenics parks and outdoor workout locations worldwide, track and share their training, create and follow workouts and workout plans, build a personal library of exercises, and share highlight videos of their training. The App also provides in-app messaging features that allow users to communicate with each other. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("App"). Please read this policy carefully. By using PullPoint, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, username, profile photo, bio, and any links you choose to add to your profile.
  • Spot Contributions: When you contribute a calisthenics park or outdoor workout location (a "Spot"), we collect the information you submit, including geographic coordinates, spot names, equipment names and descriptions, and photos of the location.
  • Workouts and Plans: The workouts and workout plans you create, including their names, exercises, sets, repetitions, notes, and related training data.
  • Custom Exercises: Exercises you create, including their names and details, and any demo video you attach to a custom exercise. Custom exercise demo videos are private and visible only to you (see Section 3).
  • Shared Workout Posts: When you share a completed workout, we collect the associated workout data and any image you attach to the post.
  • Highlight Videos: Videos you upload to your profile as highlights, along with their generated thumbnails.
  • User Content: Any reviews, ratings, comments, or photos you submit about Spots or other content in the App.
  • Messages: When you use the in-app messaging feature, we collect and store the content of your messages to deliver them to the intended recipients. Messages are stored on our servers to enable the messaging service.
  • Communications: Information you provide when contacting us for support or feedback.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Location Data: With your permission, we collect your precise or approximate geographic location to show nearby calisthenics parks and provide location-based search functionality.
  • Image and Media Metadata: Photos and other media you upload may contain embedded metadata, such as GPS location and the date and time the media was captured. We may collect and use this metadata, for example to help place, verify, or display the location of a Spot. If you do not want this information collected, you can remove metadata from your files before uploading, or disable location tagging in your device camera settings.
  • Advertising Identifiers: We and our advertising partners collect advertising identifiers, such as the Apple Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) and the Google Advertising ID (GAID), to deliver and measure advertising, including personalized advertising. On Apple devices, we request your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before using your identifier for tracking. See Section 7 for details and your choices.
  • Analytics and Diagnostic Data: Through Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics, we collect app-usage events, an app-instance identifier, and crash and performance diagnostics to understand how the App is used and to improve its stability.
  • Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, including pages viewed, features used, search queries, and session duration.
  • Log Data: IP address, access times, app crashes, and system activity.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

  • Authentication Providers: If you sign in using a third-party service (e.g., Apple Sign-In, Google), we may receive your name, email address, and profile information as permitted by the provider.
  • Analytics and Advertising Providers: We use Google and Firebase services — including Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, and Google AdMob — which may collect usage, device, diagnostic, and advertising data as described in Sections 2.2 and 7.

3. User Content and Visibility

Content in the App has different visibility levels depending on its type and the settings you choose:

  • Public content: Spots (once approved), your public profile information, reviews, ratings, and comments, highlight videos, and any workout, workout plan, or exercise you choose to make public may be visible to other users.
  • Audience-controlled content: Shared workout posts can be shared with everyone, with your friends only, or kept visible only to you, according to the audience you select.
  • Private content: Your workouts and workout plans are private by default, and your custom exercise demo videos are visible only to you and are never shown to other users.

"Private" means content that is not visible to other users. It does not mean that PullPoint cannot access the content. As described in Section 4, we may access, analyze, or remove any content, including private content, where necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, or respond to reports of abuse or illegal material.

4. Content Moderation and Reporting

  • Automated moderation: Images and highlight videos may be analyzed by automated content-moderation technology, including third-party services such as Amazon Rekognition, before and/or after they are published, in order to detect prohibited content such as explicit or graphic material. Media that does not pass moderation may be rejected and not stored.
  • Reporting and admin review: Users can report Spots, comments, exercises, workouts, workout plans, shared workout posts, highlight videos, and other users. Reported content is reviewed by our administrators and may be removed, and the responsible account may be suspended or terminated.
  • Blocking: You can block other users to limit interactions with them.
  • Spot review: User-submitted Spots are reviewed by our administrators before they become publicly available.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features, including workouts, plans, exercises, Spots, highlights, sharing, and the messaging service.
  • To display calisthenics park locations near you and enable location-based search.
  • To create and manage your user account.
  • To deliver messages between users through the in-app messaging feature.
  • To process, moderate, and display user-generated content such as Spots, reviews, ratings, workouts, plans, shared posts, and highlight videos.
  • To measure and understand how the App is used and to diagnose crashes and improve performance and stability, through analytics and diagnostic services.
  • To display advertising, including personalized advertising, and to measure its performance (see Section 7).
  • To communicate with you, including responding to inquiries and sending service-related notifications and push notifications.
  • To analyze usage trends and improve the App's functionality, performance, and user experience.
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security issues, prohibited content, and technical problems.
  • To enforce our terms of service and community guidelines, including moderation of user content and messages and acting on user reports.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations.

6. Sharing of Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some jurisdictions (such as California) define "sale" or "sharing" broadly to include disclosing identifiers to advertising partners for personalized advertising; you can opt out of personalized advertising as described in Section 7. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • With Other Users: Your public profile information, reviews, ratings, and other public content may be visible to other users. Messages you send are delivered to the intended recipients.
  • Service Providers: We may share information with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting and storage (Amazon Web Services), content moderation (e.g., Amazon Rekognition), analytics and diagnostics, and content delivery.
  • Advertising and Analytics Partners: We share certain information, including advertising identifiers and app-usage and device data, with Google (Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, and Google AdMob) to provide analytics, diagnostics, and advertising, including personalized advertising. These providers may process this data in accordance with their own privacy policies (see Section 7).
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • Safety and Enforcement: We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding violations of our terms, illegal activities, suspected fraud, or situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • With Your Consent: We may share information for other purposes with your explicit consent.

7. Analytics and Advertising

The App uses services provided by Google and Firebase to operate, analyze, and support the App:

  • Google Analytics for Firebase: Collects app-usage events and an app-instance identifier to help us understand how the App is used.
  • Firebase Crashlytics: Collects crash reports and diagnostic data to help us improve the App's stability.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging: Delivers push notifications to your device.
  • Google AdMob: Displays advertising in the App, including personalized advertising, using advertising identifiers such as the IDFA and the Google Advertising ID.

7.1 Personalized Advertising and Tracking

  • On Apple devices, we use Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework to request your permission before tracking you or using your device's advertising identifier for personalized advertising. If you do not grant permission, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized using your identifier.
  • Where required by law (for example, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Türkiye), we ask for your consent before using your data for personalized advertising, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.

7.2 Your Choices

  • iOS: Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking to control app tracking, and Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising to limit ad personalization.
  • Android: Go to Settings → Google → Ads to reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization.
  • You can review and control Google's use of data for advertising at adssettings.google.com.

These services are provided by Google and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Google's description of how it uses data from apps that use its services.

8. Data Storage and Security

Your information, including uploaded images and videos, is stored on secure servers and storage provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS). We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments to protect your personal data.

Messages sent through the in-app messaging feature are stored on our servers to enable message delivery. We take reasonable measures to secure message content, but please be aware that no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

9. Account Deletion and Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services.

You may request deletion of your account at any time through the App's account settings or by contacting us at contact@pullpoint.net. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your information as described below.

9.1 Data That Is Deleted

The following are permanently deleted or replaced with anonymized placeholders and cannot be recovered:

  • Your personal identifiers, including your name, email address, username, profile photo, bio, and profile links.
  • Your message history and conversations, including group conversations for events you created.
  • Your highlight videos and their associated media files.
  • Your private custom exercise demo videos and their associated media files.
  • Your sessions, authentication tokens, device tokens, notifications, friend requests, blocks, bookmarks, and likes.

9.2 Data That Is Retained in Anonymized Form

To preserve the integrity and usefulness of community content, some content you contributed is retained but disassociated from your identity and attributed to a "Deleted User" label:

  • Spots and Spot images: Calisthenics parks and outdoor workout locations you contributed, including their coordinates, names, equipment information, and images, are retained as community reference data.
  • Reviews, ratings, and comments: Content you posted about Spots is retained in anonymized form.
  • Shared exercises: Custom exercises you created that have become part of the shared exercise catalog are retained (their private demo videos are deleted, as described in Section 9.1).
  • Shared workout posts: Completed workout posts and their images that you shared are retained in anonymized form.
  • Workouts and plans: Your workouts and workout plans are removed from view; limited, de-identified records may be retained only where other users have saved or referenced them, to preserve their experience.

This process is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, your personal data cannot be recovered.

If you would like specific retained content (such as a particular Spot, image, or comment) removed, please contact us at contact@pullpoint.net and we will review your request.

We may retain certain non-identifiable or limited data for a limited period as required by law or for legitimate operational purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, legal compliance), after which it will be permanently deleted.
